Flora Louis

Flora Ann Louis, age 87, of Redford, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. She was born on September 5, 1937, the daughter of Delbert and Margaret (Thomas) Rice, in Detroit, MI. Flora married the love of her life, Melvin Louis. Together, they shared many years filled with love and cherished memories until he preceded her in death on September 4, 2014. 

Flora loved shopping and spending her summers up north. She had a talent for cooking and took great pleasure in sharing her meals with family and friends. More than anything, Flora adored her grandchildren and loved to spoil them. 

She is survived by her children: Yvonne (Rick) Johnson, David (Kim) Bargaria, Lisa Stevens, Melvin (Terri) Louis, Wayne Louis, Steven Louis, Wanda (Dave) Olsen; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister: Carol Walker.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Melvin; parents: Delbert and Margaret; sister: Betty O'Connor; and brother: William Rice. 

Funeral Services will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
