Evelyn I. “Eva” Hund, 99, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away at Medilodge in Midland, Michigan, on Saturday, July 1, 2017. She was born on May 24, 1918, the daughter of Arthur David & Mina (Hooper) Metcalf in Beaverton. On August 3, 1939, she was united in marriage to Elwood Hund in Beaverton. He predeceased her in 2003. She was employed by W.T. Grant in Midland as a clerk. Evelyn has lived in Gladwin County her entire life and was a member of the Beaverton United Methodist Church. Left to cherish her memory is her daughters: Betty Lou (Wilbur) Dicken-Boot of North Carolina; Piccola (Jerry) Sweebe of Midland; Crystal (Stephen) Burr of Beaverton; Nancy (Roger) Tigner of Beaverton; 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 24 great great grandchildren and some on the way. She is also survived by her sister: Blanche Miller of Auburn. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son in-law: Bert Dicken; grandchildren: Frank, Steve & John. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Lynn Chappell on Thursday, July 6, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 2-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. She will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery, Beaverton.
