Ernest E. Brown, 90, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away in Clare, Michigan on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. He was born in Lakefield Twp. Michigan on March 11, 1927 the son of Elmer & Gladys (Hodges) Brown. On December 31, 1949 he was united in marriage to Berenice Bolton in Pleasant Lake, Indiana. They shared 54 wonderful years together before she predeceased him in 2003. He was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country during World War II. He had lived in Gladwin County for most of his life and he retired from Brown Machine in 1993 with 30 years of service. His memory will live on in the hearts of his daughters: Kathleen (Daniel) Greenacre of Clare; Georgia (Sten) Hansen of St. Charles, Illinois; son: Charles (Mary) Brown of Arkansas. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his special friend: Lois Buben of Beaverton. He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; son in-law: James Greenacre; sister: Orene Brown. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Patrick Poag on Friday, July 7, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5-8:00 P.M.
