Erin Leigh (McCarthy) Sams, 58, of Gladwin, formally of Royal Oak, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. She was born on October 7,1964 in Madison Heights, MI, the daughter of Thomas and Toni (Foster) McCarthy of Gladwin. She was the Assistant Manager for the Soo Co-Op Credit Union in Sault St. Marie prior to moving to Gladwin in 2020. She was a member of the Secord Eagles Aerie 4121.
Surviving are her children: Billie Formolo and Steven Sams of Sault Ste. Marie; mother: Toni McCarthy; siblings: Helen Pratt of Upper Abbot, ME, Jennifer (Bruce) Lockman of Royal Oak MI, and Danny (Anne) McCarthy of Commerce Twp. MI.
