February 24, 1911 — April 19, 2017

Eiva L. Page passed away peacefully and into the arms of her Lord and Savior on April 19, 2017 at 106 years of age. Eagerly awaiting her arrival were her parents, Otis and Lettie Midkiff, husband Maxwell Page, son James Page and son in-law George Smith. Eiva was born in Meigs County, Ohio on February 24 th , 1911, the only child of Otis and Lettie. In 1914, they moved to Beaverton, MI. Eiva graduated from Beaverton High School in 1932. In 1933, she and her future husband, Max Page of Gladwin moved to Flint to find work. They were married in Angola, IN in 1935. Upon her husband’s passing in 1967, Eiva returned to Beaverton to care for her parents.

Eiva was an active member of the Rebekah Lodge. She held many offices including Vice Grand and Noble Grand. She joined the Blue Star Mothers of America Chapter 174 in 1985 and held nearly all offices in the organization. Including Department of Michigan President in 1989 to 1990 and again in 1998 to 1999. She had visited all of the Veterans Hospitals and Retirement Homes for Veterans in MI. In 2001 she had 2063 volunteer hours with the Department of Veteran Affairs in Saginaw-Veterans Hospital. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Beaverton for many years.

Upon her 100 th birthday, she moved to Pasadena, TX to live with her daughter Shirley and family. She is survived by daughter Shirley Smith, granddaughter Christine and husband Alexander Zinner, grandson Richard Smith and wife Lisa, great grandson Alex Zinner and wife Ashley-all of Pasadena, TX, Great granddaughter Amanda Smith of Deer Park, TX. Also great grandson Matthew Zinner and wife Robyn, great great granddaughters Makenzie and Caitlin of Sandy, UT and host of nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to Anita and Wes Wibley for all they have done and for keeping an eye on the homestead.

Cremation has taken place. She will be buried in Dale Cemetery in Beaverton at a date to be announced. Eiva had a long, healthy, wonderful life and will be missed by all. To the world she was but one person, to us she was the world. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
