Edythe "Edie" A. Crick passed away surrounded by her family on May 2, 2018 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center Gladwin, Michigan. She was born in Gladwin on February 28, 1947 the daughter of Harold & Lucille Smith. She found love in her husband Frank Crick who she was happily married to for 33 years, before he predeceased her in 2005. She was a very gentle and caring women and she loved her work as a caregiver at Wilford’s Adult Foster Care in Gladwin. She will be dearly missed by her 2 daughters: Carrie (Fred) Shaver of Gladwin, and Lori (Gary) Bailey of Blanchard, Michigan, her precious grandchildren: Brandi, Dawson, Lee, Christopher, Gary Jr., Jaden, Kinleigh, MaKenna, Reana and Hunter; great granddaughter: Oakley; 4 brothers: Russ (Joyce) Smith of Gladwin, William (Lavel) Smith of Gladwin, Roy (Roxy) Smith of Coleman, Jim (Thelma) Smith of South Carolina. She will also be dearly missed by her sister, Jo (Jerry) Naugle of Gladwin, along with several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, grandson: Timothy Bailey; parents; nephew: Jeffrey Naugle. As her wishes she will be cremated. A Memorial will be held on June 10, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at Carrie & Fred's House. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made according to the family.
