Edward R. Watts

Edward R. Watts I, 74, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, April 27, 2018. He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on December 9, 1943 the son of Walter & Grace (Schnelker) Watts. On May 14, 1965 he married his true love Gertrud Ballmann in Germany. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving his country during the Vietnam Era. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1990, previously residing in Gibraltar, and he was employed with Ford Motor Company in Woodhaven until his retirement. He leaves his loving wife of nearly 54 years to cherish his memory, Gertrud Watts of Gladwin; son: Dennis (Anne) Watts of Tampa, Florida. He was blessed with 3 wonderful grandchildren: Edward III, James and Kaitlyn and 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his son: Edward R. Watts II and his parents.
