Doyle K. Donn, age 82 of Gladwin, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. He was born March 12, 1941 In Gladwin, the son of Rowland Donn and Donna (Koontz) Donn. Doyle was united in marriage to Karen Kay Longstreth. He was a truck driver in his early years at Shull Transport, later purchasing the Chappel Dam Store and starting his own business: Doyle Donn Trucking. Doyle had many passions. He was involved with racing everything from cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and horses to rodeos. Doyle was a caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, and a friend to many.
Left to cherish and carry on his memory are his children: Kelly (Mike) Otto of Farwell, Troy (Kim) Donn of Gladwin, and Jennifer (Gary) McCulloch of Gladwin; grandchildren: Taylor Otto (Brittany, Cameron and Mckenzie) Otto, Tyler (Kelly) Donn, Stephen (Laura) Donn, Nicole (Kevin) McKeever, Alyssa (Grant) Fritz and Dakotah McGuire, Adam Hall, Jace and Austin McCulloch; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; Sister: Bonnie (Joe) Brady; brother: Gordon (Linda) Donn.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Karen; parents: Rowland and Donna Donn; in-laws: Monia (Sid) Brimmer, Harry Longstreth, Joan-Brown Tacey, Jim Longstreth and Maron Linston.
