Donna Lowe

Donna Lee Parker Lowe, 88, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on December 15, 2023, after a short illness.

Donna was born on January 2, 1935, to Albert and Wilma Parker in Gladwin. After marrying her husband, Michael, in 1966, she moved to Flint, MI, and worked for the 67th District Court of Genesee County. They had two children, Denise and Spencer. Donna and Mike celebrated their 57th anniversary in November.

After they both retired, Donna and Mike traveled the United States and Canada in an RV for several years before settling in Surprise, AZ, in the winter and Petoskey, MI, during the summer. Gladwin was their home base.

She loved drinking coffee and doing New York Times crossword puzzles, going to casinos, and watching football and professional golf. Tiger Woods was her favorite. She had dozens of statement necklaces and was known for always being impeccably dressed. She read mystery novels and was always interested in politics and the stock market.

Donna was predeceased by her parents; sister, Lela (Mervin) Grove; brothers, Harold Parker, Walter Parker, and Curtis (Oleta) Parker; nephews, Larry Grove and Orval Grove; niece, Darlene Conner; and sister-in-law, Linda Jensen. She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughter, Denise; son, Spencer; brother-in-law, Lee Jensen; niece, Valerie Cogswell-Hindman; nephew, Jerry Parker; several generations of nieces and nephews; and her dear lifelong friend, Joy Monroe.

Donna requested no funeral services but will be laid to rest in Grout Township Cemetery in Gladwin County. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
