Donald Eugene Thomas, 87, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. He was born on March 8, 1936, the son of Fred and Lucille Neiderquill in Atlanta, MI. On December 29, 1956, he married his wife June Weeden. They shared many years of memories and love together until she preceded him in death in 2020. Donald was a member of the US Army. Upon returning, he became a jack of all trades, adventuring in his love for music, owning a bar among many other endeavors. He enjoyed gardening, racing and especially hunting. He was a proud member of the Eagles Club. Donald also enjoyed playing cards, specifically euchre and poker. He also loved a good bonfire and lived for family get-togethers.
Donald is survived by his children: Lynn, Debbie (Andy), Larry (Denise), Jean (Dave), Bobby, Tanisha (Carl), and many foster children. His children blessed him with 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Millie and Pat.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife: June; son: Donald (Donnie) Duane and daughter: Lucille.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. The family will receive guests from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
