Donald Parker, 88, of Beaverton, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. He was born on May 4, 1936, the son of Delmer and Irene (Fry) Parker in Gladwin. Donald dedicated over 40 years of his career to Dow Chemical. Following his retirement, he enjoyed staying active and engaged in his community, taking on various jobs before finding joy as a greeter at Meijer in Midland, where he loved meeting new people.
An avid outdoorsman, Donald enjoyed hunting and various outdoor activities. He was a devoted supporter of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, often attending their sporting events.
He is survived by his children: Kim (Steve) Mishler, Daryl (Kenda) Parker, and Debbie Marquardt; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lucille Mudge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Doug and Harold Parker.
