Dolly Fowler, age 83, of Midland, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024. Born on November 29, 1940, the daughter of Andrew and Gladys Brisbin in Muskegon, Michigan.

She dedicated 26 years of her career as a crew leader and silicone lab technician at Dow Corning's Hemlock and Midland site, retiring in 1999. Her contributions extended beyond her professional life, as she was an active member and chairperson for the Architectural Committee of the Amberwoods Homeowners Association. She also enjoyed getting together with the Dow Corning retirees.

Dolly had a profound love for the outdoors. Her hobbies included gardening, golfing, and hunting, with a special passion for deer and bear hunting. She also loved crocheting and traveling.

Dolly is survived by her son: John Dexter; step-sons: Raymond Fowler and Allen Fowler; step-daughters: Sue Haney, Debra Shepherd, and Karen DePesa; granddaughters: Jaquelyn (Danny) Hoyt, Michelle (Gayland) Sudderth, and grandsons Mason Hoyt and Jaxon Sudderth, sister: June Cade Hemet, many nieces, nephews and numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Andrew and Gladys Brisbin; husband, Charles Fowler; son: Timothy Dexter; brother: Jack Brisbin; and her sisters: Betty Haws, Violet Mead, and Mary Quinn.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Beaverton, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
