Diana Nichols

Diana E. Nichols, 63, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on August 14, 1955 the daughter of Donald & Shirley (Reynolds) Baden. She married Armon W. Nichols in Georgia in 2009. Diana had lived in Gladwin County for the last 10 years, previously residing in Georgia. She was employed with JC Penney and Sears. She also worked at the Palace of Auburn Hills as a custodian. Diana had a very special love for animals, and she dearly loved her fur babies “Cheech”, “Star” and her cat “Angel”, but she had a special bond with her dog “Monkey”. She enjoyed the outdoors very much, and found her love of fishing to be quite relaxing. She would rescue turtles and place them in her backyard pond. She was a kind and caring person and placed a high regard on her friendships. Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband: Armon Nichols of Gladwin; daughters: Sheila Edwards of Millford; Elizabeth Edwards of Harrison. She was blessed with 1 precious grandchild: Steven Bacon. She will be dearly missed by her mother: Shirley Delongchamp of Florida; step daughter: Dorcia McGee; step sons: Adrian Nichols; Andre Nichols; 1 step grandchild: Donovan McGee; 1 brother: Donald Baden; aunt: Jacqueline Moss; dear friend: Ashley Davis; 2 very special sister in-laws: Patricia Harrison and Radeen Jones. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
