Diana Dawley, 72, of Beaverton, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. She was born on May 1, 1950, the daughter of August and Maryanne (Gehrls) Rudy in Saginaw. On June 5, 1976, she was united in marriage to Ronald Dawley in Gladwin. Together they shared 35 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in 2012. She worked in the kitchen staff at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home for many years. She was a tiny, fierce, humorous, and patient woman who loved to play jokes on people. She lived to have fun and always had a smile on her face. She was an amazing cook, baker, and nobody made better homemade jam than her. She will be missed by all who loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Dana (Paul) Williams and Heather Dawley; grandchildren: Tara, Tyler, Joseph, Shane, Greg, Logan, and Grace; great grandchildren: Rex, Noah, Melody, and Isabella; sister: Janet Baker; along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother: August Jr.; and sister: Annie Baker.
