Dennis Phillips

Dennis M. Phillips, 67, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Monday February 4, 2019 in Midland, Michigan.  He was born on December 15, 1951, to Charles and Virginia (Hancock) Phillips in Midland, Michigan. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam Era. Dennis retired from Saginaw Steering Gear where he worked on the assembly line.  He has lived in Gladwin for the last 19 years, previously residing in Hemlock, Michigan.  He is survived by his wonderful children: April Phillips; Michael Phillips; Kyle (Denise) Phillips; Jared Phillips and Laura (Randy) McDonald all of Gladwin.  Along with the mother of his children Mary Phillips also of Gladwin.  His children blessed him with 12 beautiful grandchildren: Brendon, E.J., Keith, Wyatt, J.R., Brayden, Karter, M.J., Greyson, Karmyn, Knolan and Brystal.  Also surviving are his siblings: Judy (Frank) Criss of Kentucky; DeeDee (Phil) McCullough of Rochester Hills; Stella (Larry) Palmer of Texas; Brenda Phillips of Clarkston; Mark (Rose) Phillips of Montana; Chris (Cheryl) Phillips of Sanford and Terry Phillips of Montana, along with several nieces and nephews.  Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.  Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home Gladwin, Michigan.  Visitation will be held on Friday February 8, 2019 from 2-9 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home Gladwin, Michigan.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to use according to their wishes. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
