David M. Nowak

May 20, 1957 — March 25, 2021

David M. Nowak, 63, of Beaverton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 25, 2021. He was born on May 20, 1957, the son of  Walter S. and Marian (Trepkowski) Nowak in Saginaw. On December 8, 1978, he was united in marriage to JacLynn Baase, she preceded him in death in 1992. He was blessed again and on June 23, 1995, he married Linda Salas in Saginaw. David was employed as a carpenter for Wolgast in Saginaw.
David's hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening, camping, and  building birdhouses.  He was a blessing to many, many friends and family, helping out where he saw a need.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Linda Nowak of Beaverton; daughter: Melissa (Bobby) Stiles of Boonsboro, MD; grandchildren: JacLynn, KaitLynn, and Nicholas. He is also survived by his siblings: Yvonne (Edward) Bird of Grayling, Wally/Walter (Lisa) Nowak of Midland, Jeanne Gillisse of Midland, Joanne (Scott) Parent of Kalamazoo, Anna (Phil) Boman of Benzonia, and Joseph (Tracey) Nowak of Williamsburg; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife: JacLynn; son: Nicholas; brother in-law: Robert.

Funeral Services honoring Mr. Nowak will be conducted by David's uncle Bernard Wolny, a Lay Minister for the Diocese of Saginaw, Thursday, April 1, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Dale (Tobacco Twp.) Cemetery, Beaverton. in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made according to the American Cancer Society. www.hall-kokovichfuneralhome.com
