David H. McMullen, age 79, of Gladwin, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was born on June 7, 1945, the son of David and Gertrude (Kohler) McMullen, in Detroit, MI. Dave retired from Boilermaker Local 169 in 2007 and turned his hobby, farming, into his second career. He married Maxine Cooper, together they had one son and shared many memories, until she preceded him in death in 1971. On April 4, 2007, Dave married Joni Yeager, together they shared 17 years of love and memories.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Joni McMullen; son: David (Kim) McMullen; step-children: James (Tracy) Yeager and Becky (Eric) Bigford; grandchildren: Kailyn McMullen, Pete Tacconelli, Mitchell Yeager, Jack Yeager, Cole Bigford, and Jace Bigford; brother: Dennis (Candy) McMullen; sister-in-laws: Susan Wolschon and Carol (Bob) Harrison; brother-in-law: Grayden (Sandy) Yeager; along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: David and Gertrude; first wife: Maxine; and son: Kyle McMullen.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin.
