David M. Johnson

David Michael Johnson, 66, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away suddenly, he was found at his home on Sunday, November 19, 2017. He was born in Midland, Michigan on December 17, 1950 the son of Bernard & Barbara (Riegle) Johnson. He had lived in Gladwin County for the last 40 years, previously residing in Coleman. He was an Electrician by trade working for Robinson Industries in Coleman and also Vantage Plastics in Standish, which is where he retired from in 2013. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin and the United Steel Workers Union. His memory will be cherished by his daughters: Bree Johnson of Rockford, MI; Sumer Johnson of Beaverton, MI; mother: Barbara (Riegle) Davison of St. Augustine, FL; 2 brothers: Bernie (Delores) Johnson of Texas; Joel Johnson of Florida; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father. Honoring the wishes of the family, cremation will take place and Funeral Mass will be conducted by Fr. Marcel Portelli, Saturday, December 2, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin, Michigan.  Those wishing to send an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers are asked to consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
