Raymond, David B. -of Albright Shores, formally from Saginaw, died Saturday March 17, 2018 at his residence.
Dave was born May 17, 1960 in Saginaw, to LeRoy Raymond and Ruth Russell. Dave spent his entire life in Saginaw until moving to Albright Shores in 2016. Dave Married Lori (Lorraine) Smith on July 18, 2008. She survives him. Dave worked as an electrician for many years. He also did construction, and spent the last years of his employment at Dome Corporation in Saginaw. If it was broke, he could fix it, if anyone needed help with anything, he would be there. Anyone who knew Dave, also knew that though he had a gruff exterior, he also had a heart of gold. He was also a genius at the art of cursing. Dave loved his wife, Texas hold-em, golf, euchre, shooting pool, anything Harley Davidson, his friends, and his Budweiser. Most of all Dave loved his son, Jack. He was so proud of the young man he has become, and they were very close. They enjoyed camping, boating, talking about cars and motorcycles, sitting around a campfire, and video gaming together. Dave is also survived by his Mother, Ruth Russell, the mother of his son, Jill (Dan) Perez, his best friend and brother from another mother, Donald (Linda) McMall, siblings, Lee (Darla) Raymond, Deborah Raymond, Teri Raymond, Ruth (Howard) Normile, Diane (Bill) Nichols, Paul (Leona) Russell, John (Heather) Russell, Albert Russell, Greg Russell, Rick Russell, Vicky (Rick) Gonzales. Mother in-law Mary Jane Smith, Father in-law Ronald (Denise) Smith, Brother in-law Dale Smith and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his Dad, LeRoy Raymond, brother Mark Russell and step-father Richard Russell.
Per Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Dave wanted a party, not a funeral. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
