Darwin K. "Dar" Magnus, 64, of Gladwin, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. He was born on July 11, 1957, the son of Kenneth and Helen (Davidson) Magnus in Flint. He was raised and graduated from Clio, spending summers at his favorite place, Secord Lake. On June 23. 2001, he was united in marriage to his wife, Diane Greanya Laugavitz in Davison. Together they shared many memories and in 2017, moved permanently to Dar's favorite place, Secord Lake. He loved life on the lake and loved his hot boats.
He is survived by his wife: Diane Magnus; mother: Helen Magnus; children: Laura (Richard) Moore and Christopher (Maegan) Laugavitz; proud papa of 2 granddaughters: Emma and Amelia Moore; sister: Diane (Jim) Bennett; niece: Cassie Bennett and 2 nephews: Jimmy (Lyndsey) Bennett and Ken (Amber) Bennett along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father and niece: Raedene.
