Daniel Lambdin

Daniel Lee Lambdin, age 67, a lifetime resident of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2024. He was born on September 13, 1956, in Ypsilanti, MI, to Willie and Lillie (Harris) Lambdin. Daniel was a dedicated member of the Local Operating Union 324 employed as an operating engineer for 30 years, retiring after a long and fulfilling career.

On March 12, 2005, Daniel married the love of his life, Ruth Pretzlaff, together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. He had a passion for the outdoors, where he found joy in walleye fishing and deer hunting. He also loved barbecuing, enjoying a cold beer, and even singing karaoke from time to time. Above all, Daniel cherished the moments he spent with his family and friends, though he often wished he could have spent even more time with them.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth; children: Brian Lambdin, Tiesha (Matt) Searfoss, Missy Sue Lambdin, and Chad (Amanda) Lambdin; grandchildren: Tanner, Austin, and Amber; great-grandson: Bodhi; and brothers: Don Lambdin and Dave (Nancy) Lambdin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lillie, and his sister-in-law, Barb.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Hamilton Township Cemetery in Gladwin, MI.
