Dan Merrill Jr.

Dan Merrill Jr., 78, of Gladwin, MI passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. He was born February 27, 1944 the son of Dan Sr. and Inez (Howard) Merrill in Flint, MI. On January 19, 2003 Dan was united in marriage to Kathleen Largent. Dan spent many years out in Las Vegas, NV as a card dealer at many of the casinos, but most recently and where he retired from was GM Powertrain in Flint, MI. Dan had many hobbies and some of them included playing cards almost 5 days a week and when he was not playing cards he was golfing. In the fall most of his time was dedicated to going to deer camp.

Left to cherish his memory are wife: Kathleen; daughters: Jennifer and Catie McCormick; son: Dan III; grandkids: Braelynn, Cayden, Maelynn and Jaxon; brother: Mike (Sue); and many other extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother: Vaughn.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. The family will receive guests from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
