Dale "Knobby" Kloha

Dale “Knobby” Kloha, 74, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018. He was born on August 8, 1943, the son of Edwin & Erma (Reinhardt) Kloha in Freeland, Michigan. He was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country during Vietnam Era. On September 3, 1966, he was united in marriage to Ann Hammerbacher at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bay City, Michigan. He was employed as an Iron Worker for Local Union 25 in Saginaw, Michigan, until his retirement in 1998. He has lived in Gladwin County for the past 46 years, previously residing in Bay City, Michigan. He loved fishing, hunting, and later in life gardening. Through the years he raised many chickens, ducks, and geese. His shed could always be called the neighborhood hangout. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years: Ann Kloha of Beaverton; son: Steven (Jean) Kloha of Midland; Tammi (John) Kanyo of Midland; grandchildren: Nicholas & Eric; 2 step grandchildren: Steven & Chad; 4 brothers; 1 sister; several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; 1 sister. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaverton, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018, 2-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. He will be laid to rest at Floral Gardens Cemetery, Bay City, Michigan.
