Clifford W. Spencer B.A, B.S.W., Llb

Clifford Wayne Spencer, B.A., B.S.W., LLB, 70, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away in Midland, Michigan on Thursday, March 1, 2018. He was born in North Tonawanda, New York on March 20, 1947 the son of Raymond & Priscilla (Jones) Spencer. On August 21, 1971, he was united in marriage to Ruth French in Mellen, Wisconsin. Clifford was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country in the Vietnam Era. He was a Minister for 12 years after earning his degree at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. He went on to the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada to earn his B.S.W., Bachelor in Social Work and his LLB, Law Degree. He has lived in Beaverton since 2017, previously residing in Ontario. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 46 years: Ruth Spencer of Beaverton; 5 children: Priscilla (Scott) Kurash of Beaverton; Rachel McIntyre of Windsor; David Spencer of Windsor; Mary Spencer of Kashechewan, Ontario; Stephen (Dina) Spencer of Laredo, Texas. His children blessed him with 8 wonderful grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Margaret (Skip) Carroll of Arlington, Texas; Alta (Mike) Skellenger of Sechelt, British Colombia; Raymond (Teresa) Spencer of Las Vegas, Nevada; Rose (Jerry) Banko of South Lyon, Michigan; John (Maryann) Woodruff of Antigo, Wisconsin; several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Graveside Services will be conducted by Pastor Kim Lewis on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, 11:30 A.M. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan.
