Charles “Chuck” Nathan Stout, 77, of Harrison, Michigan passed away at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. He was born in Flushing, Michigan on October 28, 1940 the son of Nathan C. & Vernie V. (Vickroy) Stout. He was a proud veteran who honorably served his country with the United States Army from September 10, 1963 to September 9, 1965. Later he was employed with General Motors for several years. Chuck had lived in Clare County for the past 25 years, previously residing in Burton, Michigan. He very much enjoyed fishing and hunting but his favorite past time was reading westerns. His memory will live on in the hearts of his sisters: Nancy Bruff of Harrison; Mary (Rosemberg) Monte of Grand Blanc; his brother: Allen (Ananias) Stout of Swartz Creek. He was blessed with 7 wonderful nieces & nephews: Skip (Sherry) Bruff of Mt. Morris; Robin (Doug) MacGregor of Clio; Michelle (John) Elliott of Gladwin; Phillip (Katie) Monte of Grand Blanc; Jonathan Monte of Kansas City, Missouri; Stephanie Monte of Midland; Corinne Stout of Kankakee, Illinois; several precious great nieces & nephews and 3 great-great nieces along with his very special dog “Tina”. He is preceded in death by his parents Nathan & Vernie Stout and brother in-law: Ray Bruff. Honoring the wishes of the family, cremation will take place and Memorial Services will be conducted by his uncle, Pastor Robert E. Vickroy on Saturday, April 7, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. Full Military Honors will be provided by local American Legion, VFW and active duty military.
