Catherine Kipfmiller

Catherine Ann Kipfmiller, age 75, of Gladwin, formerly of Omaha, NE, and Frankenmuth, MI, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. She was born on July 3, 1949, to Oswald and Mildred (Beyerlein) Reinert in Saginaw, MI. Catherine graduated from Frankenmuth High School and went on to work as a dedicated employee as a claims adjuster at Mutual of Omaha Insurance for many years. She married the love of her life, Gary Kipfmiller, and together they shared many years of love and memories until his passing in 1987.

Catherine had a deep passion for gardening and caring for her flowers. She was known for her outgoing and friendly nature and touched the lives of many through her kindness and volunteer work. Catherine will be remembered as a great person with a giving heart.

She is survived by her siblings: Shirley Petzold, Gerald (Ruth) Reinert, and Lyle (Carol) Beyerlein; nieces: Julie Miller, Mary (Tim) Arrick, and Cheryl (Chad) Burtrum; nephews: Phil (Vicki) Petzold and Todd Crawford; sister-in-law: Carolyn Crawford; along with many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary, and parents, Oswald and Mildred.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
