Carolyn D. Barnett, 58 of Beaverton, Michigan passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Mid Mid-Michigan Medical Center – Midland, after a hard-fought battle. She was born on February 20, 1961 the daughter of Edward and Leona (Childers) Brewer in Pontiac. Carolyn was united in marriage to Dan Barnett on July 2, 1988 in Walled Lake, Michigan. She and her husband moved to Beaverton in 1995 and have lived there ever since. She raised her 3 children in the quiet county teaching them to hunt and fish and live off of the land. Carolyn previously resided in Walled Lake, Michigan Along with her husband Dan, she is also survived by her sons: Justin and Kyle Barnett of Beaverton; daughter: Kaitlyn (Brandon) Wyse also of Beaverton. She also has a sister Kim (Calvin) White of Walled Lake. She has two very close nephews Aaron White of Walled Lake and Brandon (Caitlin) White of Greenville North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Tim Brewer. Carolyn was a one of a kind person with a smile that could light up a room. She had the biggest heart a person could have. Genuinely caring, compassionate, empathic, and the list goes on. No matter how hard of a day she had, she came out on top with a positive attitude! According to her wishes, cremation will take place.
