Carol Willford

Carol Willford, 64, of Gladwin, peacefully passed away on November 18, 2023. She was born on October 29, 1959, in Clare, the daughter of Lewis "Jerry" Sharp and Evon "Bonnie" Nettleton Sleeper. She was also blessed with the love and guidance of her stepfather Fred Sleeper.

On March 18, 1977, Carol was united in marriage to Michael Willford, and together they shared a life filled with love and cherished moments.

She enjoyed crafting, immersing herself in a good book, and the thrill of a successful garage sale hunt. Her love for entertaining and being surrounded by family brought her immense happiness.

She is survived by her daughters, Mandy (Shawn) Willford and Tanya (Matthew) Willford, and her dear grandson, Kigun. Carol is also remembered by her sisters, Tena (Keith) Balmer, and Anna Mooney; her brother, Barry Sharp, as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces

Carol is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael; her daughter, Jamie Willford; and her son, Jason Willford.

Cremation has taken place, and memorial services to celebrate Carol's life will be held at a later date.There will also be a bigger memorial at the end of May.
