Carol L. Garcia, of Gladwin, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 1, 2020, at her home. She was born on February 2, 1940, the daughter of Charles & Dorothy (Miller) Naeyaert in Detroit. She was united in marriage to her true love Donald Garcia on May 26, 1978, in Miami, Oklahoma. After retirement in 1993, Carol and Donald built a house and moved to Sugar Springs in Gladwin. She loved her beautiful flower gardens and enjoyed many trips to the casino. She loved living on the lake and preparing many meals for her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years: Donald Garcia of Gladwin; children: Vicki Boehm of Clinton Twp., Ronald Hart of Nevada, Gerald Hart of Georgia, Robert Hart of Tennessee, Michael Garcia of Gladwin, and Joanne Devine of Eastpointe; grandchildren: Emiley, John, Brian, Neal, Christiann, Dillon, Danielle, Deanna; 9 great grandchildren; and brother: John Naeyaert of Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents.
