Beverly Fischer, 89, of Gladwin, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was born on June 26, 1935, the daughter of Hazen and Bernice (Laidley) Greer. On June 23, 1956, she was united in marriage to her husband, Thomas Fischer, who preceded her in death. Beverly retired as a secretary from State Farm Insurance - Floyd Orlowski after many years of service. She was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Gladwin Bowling Hall of Fame in 1994, boasting an average score of 180. She served as the secretary/treasurer of the bowling league. Beverly loved fishing with her husband and going to the casino with her daughters. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beverly also loved to go camping, sitting around a bonfire, while enjoying a beverage. She was a member of the Gladwin Eagles 3292 for over 50 years. In her later years, she spent winters in Florida, enjoyed watching sports, especially the Tigers, and attending spring training games in Lakeland. Her greatest moments and most cherished moments were any time spent with family.

She is survived by her children: Denise (Randy) Holmes, Crystal (Rick) Richards, Calvin Fischer, and Allan (Candy) Fischer; grandchildren: Melissa, Tamara, Scott, Tara, Amy, Nicki, Nate, Steven, and Angela; great-grandchildren: Kaden, Abbey, Kyleigh, Kendall, Tyler, Colton, Camden, Carter, Gavin, Easton, and Sadie; and great-great-grandchild: Amelia. She is also survived by her siblings: John, Betty, and Ruth; sister-in-law: Irene; and brothers-in-law: Terry and Ted. She is preceded in death by her son-in-law: Dan Crockett and siblings: Ike, Luella, Irene, Don, Marian, Vern, Lois, Ken, and Jerry.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 3:30-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. She will be laid to rest at Ridge Cemetery, Gladwin.
