Bernard Eagleson

Bernard “Bunk” Eagleson, 91, of Gladwin, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born on March 16, 1929, the son of Eldo and Gladys (Koontz) Eagleson in Flint. Bernard was united in marriage to Joyce Myers on January 6, 1951. She proceeded him in death on April 11, 2020. Bernard was employed at Wolverine Camper and was a member of the Gladwin Eagles Aerie 3292.

Left to cherish his memory are his three sons and daughter: Kenneth Eagleson, Gerald (Cheryl) Eagleson, Larry (Marie) Eagleson, and Sheila (Dan) Stepaniak, all of Gladwin. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister: JoAnn Klopff of Greenville.

He is proceeded in death by his parents and wife: Joyce Eagleson. Along with his brother and sister: Gerald Eagleson and Vivian Dunning.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Due to Covid-19 the service with private. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, from 1-8 P.M. He will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Gladwin.
