Arlene R. Fromer

Arlene Ruth Fromer, 84, of Essexville, Michigan passed away at Bay City Comfort Care surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. She was born in Gladwin, Michigan on September 20, 1932 the daughter of Ralph & Adeline (Codling) Kern. She was a homemaker, previously residing in Gladwin County and she was a member of the Beaverton Baptist Church in Beaverton, Michigan. She was a very kind and loving woman with a strong family value. Her memory will be forever cherished by her children: Daniel (Nancy) Fromer of New Mexico; Laurie (James) Duffy of New Mexico; Gary (Vicki) Fromer of North Carolina; Cindy (Bruce) Fillmore of Midland; Susan Fromer of Grand Blanc; Flo Wedding of Essexville: daughter in-law: Vicki Fromer of Swartz Creek. She was blessed with 39 wonderful grandchildren and 44 precious great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her brothers: Calvin (Jeanette) Kern of Gladwin; David (Elaine) Kern of Florida and several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her sons: Timothy Fromer; Kenneth Fromer; grandson: Trevor Roggow; great grandson: Adam Duffy; parents: Ralph & Adeline Kern. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Ricky Webb on Saturday, April 22, 2017, 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Fraser Road Church of God, Kawkawlin, Michigan The family will receive friends on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 4-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family would like to express appreciation for the loving care provided to their mother by the staff at the Bay City Comfort Care.
