Arden LaPalm, 86, of Gladwin passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021. He was born December 5, 1934 the son of Edmond and Violet (Cicotte) LaPalm in Melvindale. On May 7, 1955 he was married to the love of his life Dolores Gauthier in Dearborn, MI. Arden spent his working years employed by Great Lakes Steel and Ecorse as a rigging manufacturer for 31 years. He was a devout member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Gladwin and the K of C 5280 where he became a 4th degree Knight.
Arden is survived by his wife: Dolores of Gladwin; 3 sons: Daniel (Cheryl) LaPalm of Allen Park, Paul (Tanja) LaPalm of TN, and Carl LaPalm of Melvindale; 2 daughters: Janet Cole of CA and Doreen (Kurt) Kachadorian of Rockwood; 12 amazing grandchildren and 9 wonderful great-grandchildren; brother Tom LaPalm; sister: Darlene Dickens; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Honoring the families wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be taking place on Saturday, July 24th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at noon with a luncheon taking place after at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
