BenA. L. “Benny” Bodnar, 74, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at his son’s home in West Branch, Michigan on Monday, April 3, 2017. He was born in Warren, Michigan on May 13, 1942 the son of Robert & Erma (Kobel) Bodnar. He was raised in Gladwin and he was a Welder, Rancher and Mechanic by trade. He loved the great outdoors and enjoyed fishing, guns, horses and rodeos. His memory will be forever cherished by his sons: Brook Bodnar; Brady (Michele) Bodnar; daughter: Colette Bodnar Spirdione all of West Branch. He was blessed with 9 beautiful grandchildren and 2 precious great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his best friend: Nancy Bodnar of Gladwin; 3 brothers: Bob Bodnar of Vanderbelt; Bill (Becky) Bodnar of Chesaning; Bernard Bodnar of Gladwin; sister: Edna (Stanley) Bodnar Buzzell and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson: Ren Bodnar; nephew: Robbie Bodnar; niece: Madelene Kraus.
