Anna Ruth Hall

Anna R. Hall, 100, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away at Heavenly Homestead on Saturday, March 18, 2017. She was born on December 28, 1916, the daughter of Otto & Adaliza (Murphy) Hawker in Avoca, Michigan. On July 19, 1941, she was united in marriage to Allan Hall in Yale, Michigan. He preceded her in death in 1997. She has lived in Gladwin County since 1953, previously residing in Clare (Temple), Michigan. She was employed by Gladwin Community Schools as a Playground Supervisor at the Elementary School. Anna was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star- White Clover Chapter, Harrison. She was also a member of the Whirling “G’s” square dance club and the Beaverton First Presbyterian Church. Left to cherish her memory is her sons: Larry A. Hall of Beaverton; Donald D.“Doc” (Ruth) Hall of Gladwin; daughter in-law: Linda C. Hall of Beaverton. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters: Julie Hall & Sherry Hall-Lucero; brothers: Carl Hawker & Elmer Hawker; sister: Isabell Mallwitz. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Ronald Vredeveld on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 5-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
