Terry J. Geyer, 54, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Mid Michigan Health in Midland, Michigan. He was born in St. Ignace, Michigan on May 13, 1962 the son of Glen & Edna (Dorrien) Geyer. On September 15, 2012 he was united in marriage to Sarah Metzger in Midland. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He had lived in Gladwin County since 2012, previously residing in St. Louis, Michigan. He was employed as a Wood Craftsman with Crippen Manufacturing in St. Louis where he was known as “Shoeman.” He also was co-owner of The Cardboard Addiction in Alma, Michigan. He graduated from Ithaca High School and loved the Yellow Jackets “GO JACKETS”. He was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed a good round of golf. He was a loving father, who truly had the biggest heart, and loved his family more than anything. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife: Sarah (Metzger) Geyer of Beaverton; 2 beautiful daughters: Megan Geyer of Elm Hall, MI; Melodie Geyer of Stanton, MI; 2 precious grandchildren: Alexis and Brockton. He will be dearly missed by his brothers: Tom (Donna) Geyer of Middleway, West Virginia; Tim (Paulette) Geyer of Oconto, Wisconsin; sisters: Marybeth (Bill) Wohlfert of Sumner, Michigan; Judith Geyer of Ionia, Michigan; several nieces & nephews; and his 2 dogs who were just as much his children: Spade & Malibou.  He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Ted Geyer. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and Memorial Services with military honors will be conducted by Pastor Tom Ewer on Saturday, March 4, 2017, 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Louis, Michigan, VFW Post 3055. Those wishing to send an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
