Pearl "Louise" Seckman

Pearl “Louis” Seckman, 96, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home. She was born in New Martinville, West Virginia, on February 17, 1921, the daughter of James & Pearl (Thomas) Whiteman. On December 12, 1942, she was united in marriage to James Seckman in Gladwin, Michigan. They shared 52 wonderful years together before he preceded her in death in 1995. She was a homemaker living in Gladwin County for most of her life and she was a member of the Gladwin Church of Christ. Her memory will be cherished by her son: Allen (Sandra) Seckman of Beaverton; daughters: Kathy (John) Kustra of Beaverton; Linda (Elton) Frye of Beaverton; daughter in-law: Dawn Seckman of Greybull, Wyoming. She was blessed with 9 beautiful grandchildren; 19 precious great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her brothers James Whiteman of Hawaii; Martin Seckman of West Virginia; sister: Braxie Hunt of West Virginia; several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son: Mike Seckman; infant daughter: Janie Seckman; 2 grandsons: Mike & Timmy Seckman; great grandchild: Grant; parents; 7 brothers & sisters. Graveside Services will be conducted by Pastor Jerry Wells on Sunday, February 26, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at Arbutus Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan.
