Frank "Pete" Roberson

Frank “Pete” Leon Roberson, 82, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at Mid Michigan Health in Gladwin on Monday, February 20, 2017. He was born in Midland, Michigan on April 21, 1934 the son of James & Sylvia (Cassiday) Roberson. On July 31, 1954 he was united in marriage to his true love, Maxine Brunni in Gladwin. They celebrated 60 wonderful years together before she predeceased him in 2014. He had lived in Gladwin County for most of his life and he retired from Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Michigan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a talent for woodworking. His memory will be forever cherished by his son: Robbie (Rhonda) Roberson of Mesa, Arizona; daughters: Lori (Tracy) Geiger of Beaverton, Michigan; Amy (Mike) Wardrop of Atlanta, Georgia. He was blessed with 1 grandson: Tyler Roberson of Midland, Michigan; He will be dearly missed by his brothers: Duane (Beverly) Roberson of Gladwin; Wilbur Roberson of Beaverton; Ron Roberson of Beaverton; Neil Roberson of Florida; Howard (Evelyn) Roberson of Beaverton; half-brother: Joe Nunn of  Gladwin and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife: Maxine Roberson; parents; sister: Sally Goff; brothers: Jerry Roberson; Stan Roberson and James Roberson. Funeral Services will be conducted by Rev. Fr. J. Thomas Downs on Thursday, February 23, 2017, 12:00 noon at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 5-8:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan.
