Allan D. Leonard Sr.

Allan D. Leonard Sr., 78, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at his home on Saturday, January 28, 2017. He was born in Bay City, Michigan on February 16, 1938 the son of Fenton R. & Cornea (Rayl) Leonard. On December 29, 1961 he was united in marriage to Christina J. Mowery in Bay City. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Al had lived in Gladwin County since 1989, previously residing in Bay City where he retired from Bay City Chevrolet as a truck driver. He was a member of the Billings Bible Church in Beaverton and a member of the Midland County Gun Club. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 55 years, Christina Leonard of Beaverton; daughters: Melissa (Stephen) Soriteu of Bay City; Lisa (Ron) Martinez of Colorado; son: Allan Leonard Jr. of Beaverton. He was blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren: Jessica, Joshua, Allan III; MacKenzie, Kailey and Kelsey and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; 8 siblings: Delmae, Delores, Irene, Annabelle, Shirley, Rosalie, Robert and Raymond. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Tyler Liegeb on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M at the Billings Bible Church, Beaverton, Michigan.
