Mariedith Lee Cascaddan

Mariedith Lee Cascaddan, 71, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan, on February 5, 1945, the daughter of Carson & Georgia (Gates) Cascaddan. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse working at various nursing homes throughout the area, retiring in 2004. She has lived in Gladwin County since 1999, previously residing in Owosso, Michigan. She loved animals of all kinds, especially cats, and was a member of the humane society. She was an avid crafter, especially loved woodworking and ceramics. She will be dearly missed by her brother: Carl F. Cascaddan of Gladwin; several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; 5 siblings: Vivian, Eugene, John, Louis, and Carl E. Cascaddan. Honoring her wishes cremation will take place and a family gathering will take place at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made according to the Humane Society.
