James Henry Pruden

James Henry Pruden, 75, of Lapeer, Michigan passed away at Medilodge of Cass City on Thursday, December 22, 2016. Hw was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 30, 1941 the son of Edward & Clarice (Lucas) Pruden. On June 4, 1961 he was united in marriage to the women of his dreams, Nancy Aubrey in Detroit. They shared 52 wonderful years together before she predeceased him in 2013. He was employed with Pozacut in Farmington as a Tool & Die maker until his retirement. He moved to Gladwin County in 2002, previously residing in North Branch, Michigan, and he was a cook for Yackie’s on the River in Beaverton.  He was a member of F.O.E. Walled Lake Aerie 3492, and enjoyed bowling and playing a good round of golf in his free time. His memory will be forever cherished by his daughter: Laura Podvin; son: Bret (Cindy) Pruden both of North Branch. His children blessed him with 5 beautiful grandchildren: Cassiday, Katrina, Morgan, Jacob and Nate; 2 precious great grandchildren: Carmen and Mason. He is preceded in death by his wife: parents; son: James; brother: Mike; sister: Charlotte. Honing his wishes, cremation will take place and his final resting place will be the Beaverton City Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan.
