David F. Kinney

David F. Kinney, 82, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at Mid Michigan Health in Midland, Michigan on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 5, 1934 the son of Donald & Wanda Kinney. On August 15, 1987 he was united in holy matrimony to his true love, Shirley Still in Gladwin. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1957-1959. He was a finance manager employed with Dirk Waltz in Midland and retired in 1999. David had lived in Gladwin County since 1994, previously residing in Breckinridge, and he was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 29 years, Shirley Kinney of Beaverton; sons: David Kinney of Elwell, MI; Thomas Kinney of Greenville, MI; Jeffrey (Paula) Kinney of Jacksonville, Florida; Edward (Sharon) Roe of Montana; Gary (Jeanne) Roe of Beaverton; Carl (Daisy) Roe of Beaverton; daughter: Debra (Robert) Longstreth of Beaverton. He was blessed with 21 beautiful grandchildren and 12 precious great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his sister: Julie Heimberger of Ithaca and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters: Donna and Doris. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor James Krach on Tuesday, December 20, 2017, 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Gladwin, Michigan.
