Ralph Edward Jones Sr.

Ralph Edward Jones Sr., 81, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away in Midland, Michigan on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 25, 1935 the son of James & Eddy (O’Brien) Jones. In May of 1959 he married Carol Lee Adams in Detroit. They shared 53 years together before she predeceased him in 2012. He had lived in Gladwin County for the last 2 years, previously residing in Hazel Park, Michigan. He was a self-employed mechanic until his retirement, and he was a member of F.O.E. Hazel Park Aerie 2449, Hazel Park, Michigan. His memory will be cherished by his children: Starlet Begley of Hazel Park; Ralph Jones Jr.; Samuel Charles Jones of Hazel Park; Christopher Dominic Jones of Pontiac. He was blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren and 12 precious great grandchildren. He will also be missed by his special friend: Richard Peters of Beaverton. He is preceded in death by his wife: Carol Lee Jones; sons: Frank Joseph Jones; Patrick James Jones; infant son: Johnny Jones and his parents. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and Memorial Services are being planned for a later date.
