Daisy G. Pratt

Daisy G. Pratt, 90, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016. She was born in Doddridge County West Virginia on February 19, 1926 the daughter of Floyd & Ada (Anderson) Parker. On November 17, 1941 she was united in marriage to Edward G. Pratt in Alma, West Virginia, sharing 35 wonderful years together before he predeceased her in 1976. She had lived in Gladwin County since 1957, previously residing in Newaygo, Michigan. She was a devoted member of the Dale United Methodist Church and a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary 7303. She was employed at several establishments throughout Gladwin County as a barmaid and also sold jewelry. Her memory will be cherished by her sons: Ron (Louise) Pratt of Gladwin; Terry Pratt of Gladwin; David Pratt of Florida; Steven (Sally) Pratt of Gladwin; Douglas Pratt; Bruce (Kathy) Pratt also of Gladwin; daughter: Trudy (Bruce) Laufer of Sanford.  Her children blessed her with 22 beautiful grandchildren; 39 wonderful great grandchildren and 14 precious great-great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed her brother: Freddie Parker of Custer. She is preceded in death by her husband: Edward Pratt; daughter: Carolyn Pratt; grandsons: Patrick Haines; Tony Pratt, Aaron Pratt; Joe Pratt; great granddaughter: Christina Pratt; great-great granddaughter: Harper Haines; brother: Forest Parker; sister: Dorothy Marshall. Funeral services will be conducted by Lynn Morgan on Thursday, December 8, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 1-8:00 P.M. and a V.F.W. Auxiliary service at 7:00 P.M. She will be laid to rest at Tobacco Twp.
