Lolly May Oliver, 91, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at her home with her family at her side on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. She was born in Manitoba, Canada on November 24, 1925 the daughter of George Edward & Nellie May (Taylor) Wark. In 1975 she was united in marriage to Edward Oliver, celebrating 25 years of marriage before he predeceased her in 1996. She was employed with Dorden & Company in Detroit until her retirement. She had lived in Gladwin County for the past 30 years, previously residing in Plymouth, Michigan, and she was a member of F.O.E. Secord Lake Eagles 4121 Auxiliary. She loved trips to the casino, especially playing slots and enjoyed playing cards. Her memory will be forever cherished by her daughter: Wendy (Larry) Brzezinski of Gladwin; step-daughter: Julianne (Pete) Slifco of Livonia; step-son: Tim Oliver of Redford. She was blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren and 8 precious great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her niece: Sandra (Rick) Nelson of Grand Rapids; 3 nephews; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; 2 brothers: Ray Wark; Bill Wark; 1 sister: Ivy Schmidt. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services at this time.
