Alan R. Doyle

Alan R. Doyle, 60, of Beaverton, Michigan, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. He passed at his home surrounded and comforted by his family and friends. He was born on July 14, 1956, in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Robert and Rosemary (Spencer) Doyle where he was raised in Millington, Michigan. He married his loving wife Leana (Harris) Doyle on August 14, 1993 at their residence in Beaverton, Michigan. Alan proudly served in the United States Army from 1975 to 1993. He moved his family from Flint, Michigan to Beaverton, Michigan in January 1991. From there he continued to work as a meat cutter for several years. In 1995 Alan began working as a lineman, eventually beginning their partnership business known as Doyle’s Cable Construction. He was a member of Albright Shores Eagles Aerie 3655 and the American Legion. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife: Leana Doyle of Beaverton, Michigan, they shared 28 wonderful years together; Alan raised two stepsons: Dustin Hemingway (Wife; Molly Kintner Hemingway) of Shreveport, Louisiana and Jacob Hemingway (Wife; Kaylle McMullen Hemingway) of Jacksonville, Florida. Together God blessed Alan and Leana with a daughter: Amy (Doyle) Tenwalde (Husband; Lance Tenwalde of Beaverton, Michigan. His daughter blessed him with one very precious granddaughter: Adalynn Ann Tenwalde. She was the love of his life and brought him so much joy. He is survived by his sister: Shirley Wilson; brother: Steven Doyle; sister: Crystal Edwards and many very precious nieces, nephews and cousins. He was blessed in life with so many great neighbors, friends and loved ones. He will be forever missed by many. He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Rosemary (Spencer) Doyle; his first wife Pamela (Harrington); brother in law: Allen Wilson; brother in law: Thomas Harris; and recently a very dear friend Dale Stoddard.  Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Joe Dorais on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
