Rodney E. Oberlander, 50, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. He was born on March 11, 1966, the son of Eugene & Sharon (Matthews) Oberlander in St. Johns, Michigan. On July 22, 2016, he married Crystal Holling in Gladwin, Michigan. He was employed for the City of Gladwin for the past 27 years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Crystal Oberlander of Beaverton; son: Rodney Jr. (Brittany) Oberlander of Leechburg, Pennsylvania; daughter: Amanda (Tyler) Mandeville- Oberlander of Charlotte, Michigan; 2 step-children: James & Lauren both of Arizona; 2 grandchildren: Preston & Paisley; father: Eugene Oberlander of Sears, Michigan; mother: Sharon Tessman of Rosebush, Michigan; brothers: Eugene Jr. (Diana) Oberlander from Bellavista, Arkansas; Matthew (Kristi) Oberlander of Atlanta, Georgia; Anthony (Amanda) Oberlander of South Haven, Michigan; sister: Wendy Klein of Beaverton; nieces & nephews: Geno, Regina, Ginny, Ashley, Gunner, Tyler, Josh, Logan, Devin (Cassie), Sabrina, Tucker, Madilynn; great niece: Mallory; great nephews: Connor & Liam. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, from 5-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
