Roy N. Jones

Roy N. Jones, 80, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home on Sunday, November 6, 2016. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 22, 1935 the son of Neal & Hilda (Naylor) Jones. He was united in marriage to Leatha on October 2, 1953, and she predeceased him in 2006. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Roy was employed with Market Vending Company in Detroit as a driver, and he moved from Detroit to Gladwin 10 years ago. His memory will be cherished by his sons: Larry (Susan) Jones of Fairfax Station, Virginia; Glenn (Agnes) Jones of Roseville, Michigan; daughter: Laura (Rick) Porter of Shelby Township, Michigan. He was blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren and 4 wonderful great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife: Leatha Jones; son: Paul Jones and 5 sisters. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time.
