Margaret "Peggy" Ann Rushford

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Rushford, 80, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016. She was born on December 20, 1935, the daughter of Charles & Elizabeth (Molesworth) Tenwalde in Gladwin, Michigan. On December 3, 1981, she was united in marriage to Gary Rushford in Sarasota, Florida. Peggy has lived in Gladwin for most of her life, and also resided in Tampa, Florida. She was a hostess/waitress for the Gladwin Eagles and the Gladwin Heights Golf Course, a reservationist at Palm Bay Club in Sarasota, and was co-owner/operator of P.G. Scratch & Dent Grocery in Tampa. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin and the Gladwin Eagles Aerie 3292. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 34 years: Gary Rushford of Gladwin; children: Larry (Debbie) Crawford of Gladwin; Toni (Mark) Chartier of Gladwin; Lisa (Lonzo) Carper of West Branch; Michael Crawford of West Branch; Jeffrey (Chris) Rushford of Bay City. Her children blessed her with 10 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles & Elizabeth Tenwalde; granddaughter: Jennifer Crawford; daughter: Baby Girl Crawford; brothers: Clifford, George & Ron. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 12-9:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan and on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan.
