Isabel M. Bierschbach

Isabel Marie Bierschbach, 92, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home on Monday, October 24, 2016. She was born in Park Falls, Wisconsin on February 21, 1924 the daughter of Oliver & Jennie Raymond and spent her childhood growing up in Merriweather, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. On August 14, 1943 she was united in marriage to her true love, Gerald “Jerry” Bierschbach in Detroit, Michigan. They shared 58 wonderful years together before he predeceased her in 2001. She was a homemaker living in Gladwin County since 1978, previously residing in Lincoln Park, Michigan. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (St. Anne’s) in Edenville, Michigan. Her memory will be forever cherished by her daughters: Jacqueline Ficek; Geraldine (John) Brancheau; Dayle (Lee) Shaffer all of Beaverton; son: Robert (Diane) Bierschbach of Oklahoma; daughter: Michelle (Emil) Schaefer of Beaverton. Her children blessed her with 16 beautiful grandchildren; 43 wonderful great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her sister: Armella Wheatman of Indiana. She is preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Bierschbach; parents: Oliver & Jennie Raymond; 8 brothers & sisters; son-in-laws: Thomas Ficek & George Willetts. Funeral Services will be conducted by Fr. Dan Fox on Friday, October 28, 2016, 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (St. Anne’s), Edenville, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 2-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. She will be laid to rest at Billings Twp.
